DirkScripts
π‘οΈ Admins
Who can open Config Studio, and what they are allowed to do in it.
Who can open /dirk_config, in one place. Scripts used to carry their own Access tab; those grants are folded into this page automatically the first time each script loads, and managed here from then on.
The master group (the dirk_lib_master_group convar) is shown read-only at the top β that is the floor, and it can never be revoked from the panel.
Below it, grant access to:
- A person β picked from who is online, or by pasting an identifier for someone offline (
license:,steam:,discord:, a framework citizenid). - A group β any ACE permission your server grants (
group.mod, a custom permission). Everyone holding it is covered, and it survives a restart, which a runtimeadd_acedoes not.
Each grant is edit or view, and can be limited to particular scripts or left to cover all of them:
- Edit β change and save settings, use give-item, and see server-only values such as webhook URLs.
- View β open the panel, read settings and read the logs. Never receives server-only values, and every save is refused server-side.
Only the master group can change who has access β an admin cannot widen their own. Identifiers are only ever shown to a master, so a view-level moderator can see who has access and at what level without being handed everyone's licence.

#Granting other staff
Beyond the master group, access is managed on the Admins page inside /dirk_config. You can grant either:
- an ACE principal (
group.mod) β everyone in that group, without touchingserver.cfg. These are stored by dirk_lib rather than written as ACEs, so they survive a restart, which a runtimeadd_acedoes not. - an individual player, picked from who is online or by identifier.
Each grant is edit or view, and can be limited to particular scripts:
- edit β change settings, use give-item, and see server-only values such as webhook URLs.
- view β open and read, and read the Logs page. Never receives server-only values, and every write is refused server-side.
Only the master group can change who has access. An admin who could add access rows could grant themselves everything, which would make the levels meaningless.
