Daily Challenges
Every 24 hours each player is given one fishing objective, drawn from the templates you configure.
#The three goal types
- Catch count β land a number of fish, anything counts.
- Catch species β land a number of one particular species.
- Catch weight β reach a total weight across the day.
Eight templates ship as standard, banded by level so the ladder covers 1β99. Templates and rewards are fully editable from the Daily Challenges section of the Config Studio.
#How the roll works
The pick is seeded on the player and the date, so the same person gets the same challenge all day β relogging cannot re-roll it into something easier.
Only templates whose level band includes that player's level are considered, so a level 3 player is never asked for a bluefin tuna.
For a species challenge, fishing prefers a species that player has not caught yet, so the day's objective doubles as a nudge towards the part of the collection they are missing. If they have already discovered everything in the pool, it falls back to the full list.
#Tracking
Progress is tracked live as players play β no manual claim-progress button. The Guidebook Overview tab shows today's challenges and progress in real-time.
#Claiming Rewards
Once a challenge is completed, the reward is claimed from the Guidebook β Overview tab. Rewards can be cash, items or XP β configured per challenge template.
βΉοΈ Daily challenge state resets at server-local midnight, configurable via the Daily Challenges section.
